How is this floater produced by the navigation buoy mold?

The navigation buoy mold is made of steel and is produced by the cold rolling method.

This method is one of the most common methods of producing metal molds in which the desired metal is shaped. In fact, this metal is passed through two rollers and changes its shape due to pressure.

Compared to the casting method, this method is superior both in terms of volume and quantity. If the temperature of the metal is lower than its recrystallization temperature, it is known as cold rolling.

Some of the advantages of this method are things such as tolerance and low finish level, the ability to make sheets with low thickness, easy lubrication, and high-quality steels used.

This mold is used in the roto-molding process and hollow polyethylene product is produced by it.

The raw material for the production of these products is colored polyethylene powder obtained from string granules.

The powder is used in the production process using the rotational method. Its use is that colored powder is first poured into special steel molds. Then this mold is installed on the end part of the perpendicular axes and they enter special ovens.

Inside these furnaces, the operation of rotation and heating has started, and due to the centrifugal force, the molten powder sticks to the wall of the navigation buoy mold.
